PRIVACY

What the atlas records.

Fourier Atlas uses limited first-party analytics to understand visits and improve the interactive experience. Analytics records are retained for up to 90 days.

Visit information

Interaction information

We record meaningful controls such as preset selection, play and pause, harmonic and speed settings, exports, uploads, and use of the drawing tool. We do not record general keystrokes or pointer movement.

Shapes and files

PNG and SVG files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded. For diagnostics, the file name, type, and resulting contour statistics may be recorded. When you choose “Use drawing,” a reduced set of normalized outline points is stored so the applied shape can be reviewed. The drawing pad is not recorded before you apply it.

Third-party analytics

The site also uses Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregated usage and interface behavior. Clarity may process information under Microsoft’s own privacy terms.

Retention and access

First-party analytics data is stored on the Fourier Atlas server, is restricted to the site administrator, and is automatically deleted after 90 days.
